We began over 20 years ago as Total Health Center working from our family farmhouse delivering raw milk and quality groceries to the Ritzville Washington area. We opened our first natural food store front two years later supplying the whole foods that we and our farm neighbors couldn’t find locally. In 1995 we moved to Spokane Washington and were able to carry and supply ourselves and our city neighbors with a wider selection of natural foods, herbs, supplements, body care products and household items. In 2003 Tamy completed her midwifery training and our store increased its efforts to meet pregnant and new mother needs as well as to specialize in the highest quality childcare products. In 2004 Melissa gave birth to Eddie at home and Total Health Center entered a new phase and began carrying organic baby clothes, organic & wood toys and attachment parenting products.
In 2006 we morphed one more time and are more dedicated than ever to emphasizing the sale of quality certified organic products. We continue to stock and sell the highest quality natural and gluten free products available. We consider it a memorial to our mothers/grandmothers who died that year of brain diseases. We have changed our name to THC Organic Market and moved our store and ourselves to the clean air of the Pacific Ocean in Long Beach, Washington.
You'll find us in the southwest corner of Washington State where our store is truly only a short walk to the
beach.
Since we have moved to the beach Lydia has married Josh and they have had two daughters born at home. Melissa has also had another baby (a girl!) born at home. Now we are enjoying another generation of Roloffs coming to work at the store. You will also find that we have fresh soup, sandwiches, smoothies, dips and espresso all made with organic ingredients. Life is good at the beach!
